I was in Israel over 20 years ago with a group that traveled and sang in small churches. We were left on our own during the day, so went exploring and tried to find some of the more important sites...all without a guide. What I wouldn't give to do it all over again and really SEE Jerusalem and the countryside with a real teacher/guide.
