Well another day has come and gone here in Jerusalem. We started the day with registration for classes and orientation, (JOY OF JOYS :<) But it was good to here all the safety concerns to be wary of. As a kind of getting to know the Old City of Jerusalem we were sent out in groups of 5-6 to do a photo scavenger hunt. the top picture is outside the Jaffa Gate we had to pose in a pyramid, hard with 5 people, but I think we did ok. Then we had to find a kind shop keeper that would allow us to take a picture with kafiye's on our head not intending to buy them. Another one was acting out an emergency procedure in front of the Old City Medical Center, as you can see we were really worried for the life of our team member. Last picture I have included is standing at the Gate of the Christ Church. These are only four of the 23 items we had to track down and capture in photo. It was an amazing trip through the old city and we met some really nice shop keepers and had a lot of fun. It was amazing to see the inside of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of the Redeemer. There are so many difference of ethnic and cultural backgrounds that it was amazing to see them all living and working together, or at least next to each other. I think it is starting to sink in that I am really here and walking over stones that were laid thousands of years ago. Hope you are all doing good and staying cooler than it is here during the heat of the day. God Bless
